Probably not the most impressive stable but Romania, Andorra and Austria the last 2 years.

I've not been skiing in Romania but have skied Austria and Andorra, I'm intrigued to know why you prefer Borovets for the kids.

Which resorts in those countries, particularly Austria and Andorra?

Possible because a little older now but seem to enjoy the whole experience more. Lots of runs that we were able to ski as a family, which was nice and kids welcomed everywhere. Pool, bowling and painting facilities in the hotel, just made it easier to relax at the bar whilst they were doing their thing.

I went to Borovets when my kids were young, and the hotels were pretty good for the kids, although there were a few "ladies of the night" that used to come into the bar at the hotel Rila in the evenings :shock:
A Bulgarian Holiday was very cheap in those days though and so it made for an affordable family trip. I wouldn't go back though.
