Holiday in 3 weeks time, not ski, off to Kefalonia. No, no towel ran to quick and did'nt make the phone before it went to answer phone. And yes the air was blue.

I have done it twice before, and its one painful little injury, and one you can do nothing about. You'll be limpig about for a couple of weeks and possibly struggling to get normal shoes on for a while, and then suddenly its gone. Shouls be fine by the time you go away.
Kefalonia could be lovely when you go. Or quite wet and windy. I hope its the former.
In the meantime, if you need some pain killers, anyone know a good pharmacist?????

And once again we have hardly any pain killers at home just numbing it with a bag of peas and a couple of whiskeys. Have to wait for the good stuff until to-morrow

Hi Rose,
Sorry to hear about your toe. Telephones are an awful nuisance when they ring while you're in the bath/shower/toilet etc. Our phone is in the living room which is sort of like an office, and it can be very awkward if someone comes in while I'm sitting there dressed in nothing but a towel.

I know someone who broke their toe, and they were given painkillers in order to keep them walking. Apparently they were told that not walking correctly does more damage than the original break (to the pelvis I think) but don't know if it's actually true. Anyway, their toe healed okay, but it took a while.

Ally

I am sorry to hear about that Rose.

Ok, with the frozen peas, but a tad more with the whisky, Rose.

:cry:Ouch!

Doctor Jon prescribes two shots of liquid pain killer three to four times a day as required..

popular makers include The Glenlivet ,McCallan ,Bowmore Glenmorangie (do not dilute).

Get well soon.

Jon.
