Guilty!

Looks like Mac is gunning for you now, Wickers

OK, I'll come clean, I did have Peterborough in there, but did make the change, in the spirit of true friendship,........ and the fact that it is your round!

Although, I don't anticipate too much bother wheedling a pint out of Ian, he's a friendly enough chap.

I would LOVE to do jury service, my hubby did one years ago and that was for a murder. Interesting but also quite unpleasant as he had to see all the gorey details.

Rose I think you have good enough reason not to do it. Tell them I'll do it for you :-)

Rose,
I was supposed to do jury service once, and I asked my solicitor about it, and he said I'd have to be very careful or I'd get slung into gaol for contempt of court, for arguing with the judge, because I'm a very argumentative sort of person.

But for some unknown reason I never had to do it.

I agree you're too busy to do it, and I would think they'd let you off.

Blimey Rose, that´s apalling news. Don´t they know what you do for a living!

make sure you're prepared for every eventuality, Rose. You could get anything from nothing at all to petty theft to the sort of case my husband got. Put it this way - you wouldn't want to be a parent hearing the details.
