When you are on the rack and pinion train going up to Zermatt, try and sit in a seat on the RH side, facing forwards ~ for the first view of the Matterhorn!
Get out early, you are going to be in a queue to get up to the slopes. However, once you are on the tops, queuing is not bad.
Its high and late season, be very generous with the sun lotion.
It is not at all expensive. You will find it much cheaper than France.
You are driving. I assume you know that Zermatt is car-free. There is parking outside the village, but you may need to make arrangements.
Wish I was going with you. :(
Any tips for Zermatt?
