Rose, of course I'm only eating it to improve my attitude when facing the fall line off piste, and it's very tasty too :D

bandit,

When the attitude is in the right gear all will drive smoothly.

The attitude will say ... "give me some steeps that deserve a woman's touch and style" :!:

I hope the rest of your trips is as good or better than the first part!

Mike, thank you, you're very kind and thoughtful :D Do you think more Absinthe will help stop me skiing like a carthorse?
:D

Not sure what describes your style bandit; but from the very little I know of Absinthe ..... a strong herbal liqueur ......with its extremely high alcohol content, ranging from 50% to 75% (usually around 60%) (thank you Goggle).......,how more Absinthe affects your style may not matter as much as how good your medical insurance plan may be:mrgreen: Besides, don't you want to remember later on the great trip you are having now?
Get some good rest and then once the Absinthe effects are gone, ski down the steeps with determination and freedom of spirit -- or freedom from spirits   with complete relaxation and confidence... stopping only to snap a few pics to share with us here. And if you do meet up with Pablo we expect some "duo" photos :!:

Have a great week.

Another wonderful spring skiing day, wore too many clothes as usual  Took a picnic out again, perfect conditions for it 8) Big crowds in the resort, so a bit of dodging around to avoid bottlenecks  Some snow near the top of the resort is not going through freeze thaw despite the strong sun, it's staying firm and packed :D Saw a couple tucking into a bottle of wine at 10am in the restaurant on the hill

Er...wooden top tourist I reckon

Just for the record...I ski sober and avoid alcohol when on the hill :D My failings are mostly down to my body

It is great reading you trip accounts.... It is now snowing here (Halifax,NS) - nothing sticking (at +2C) ... but it makes your stories even more enviable. Let the great times continue !!

I enjoy a beer at lunch time and the odd snort from the hip flask on a cold morning, I have never had a ski injury or felt the need to ski as fast as Franz Klammer, Moderation is the key.. 8)
