Thank you.
I'm in lessons for two hours every morning so the instructor will know the best places to be sun-wise. I don't want to ski too late as I'm obviously breaking back in and I hear that slush is acl territory which ain't too great for me .
Off on saturday for a week, Neiltoo

I'm not sure how much slush you will see, I think its maybe going to get colder again next weekend.
Have a great trip anyway.

Caron, when I went to Seefeld 2006 as I could not ski that year because of broken ribs I needed a jacket that was going to be extra warm because of the hanging around and spectating. Bought this jacket which would not normally be my choice of ski jacket but bought it because it had a short sleeved body warmer that went under the jacket. I still take that bodywarmer with me and on occasions I have been to warm, wear it with a Quecha fleece under it.

I'm a laydee

Spring skiing is great, provided you avoid the lower down runs that get busy and sunny of course!
I always wear a mid layer and an outer shell jacket, forget an insulated jacket or you'll be getting stinky pits. I also like to ski without a hat in the sun but you need to be careful of sunstroke and drink plenty of water. Wear sunnies but take some goggles for when the shade comes in later on, or in case of some random fog that you often find this time of year.
If you have fleecy or lined gloves, leave them behind. Mine have an inner glove which get left back in the hotel/chalet.
Prepare to get sweaty feet and also to find them swelling up more than usual, so keep your boots as loose as you dare.
The slopes are great mid morning with some sun on them, make the most of it. I love to take the last lift up to the highest point you can get to (without needing lift connections back) and stay there to watch the sun set or at least wait until everyone else has gone and you have the mountain to yourself. Nothing quite like it.
You might find some fantastic shots for the camera as well with fog or low cloud early in the morning lower down.
I wish I was going.
Caron - BE CAREFUL and have a fab time.

Spring is the time you really appreciate jackets and pants with good, well positioned vents. Hard to remember that when you are buying jackets and especially pants, but they make a huge difference in comfort on a warm day.
