Mass-Produced Skiers Use Mass-Produced Skis

Please, .... is that the best you could come up with?

You might make great skis, but with stuff like that in your ads I wont be trying them :D

Sorry for the confusion...I don't make any skis at all, don't sell any skis, just try to list as many relatively lesser-known brands as I can find and then try to test as many as I can get my feet onto. It's just a fun hobby that has gotten out of control with the list grown to more than 200 ski builders! See the list at:

Bandit, you're right.

Just the brand 'Storm' that gets to me and daft names.. Devastator Pro? I don't think that sounds like a ski  Storm-''Rage'' groaaan.

Just my opinion, the whole theme and the ropey designs are enough to put me off buying the skis.

Have any of you tested any of Storms skis? I am based in Verbier and have seen loads starting to appear and they look and ski sick. What a first year statement by a young group of guys. Surely we have to take our hats off to them for stepping it up and doing something new and brave?
rip it up!

For the record I think the whole Salomon XWing thing is ridiculous too. A lot of skiers buy the ski for what it is, a great ski but there are still a load of people who will look at the top sheet and will decide they don't want it for that reason. I look forward to seeing the production top sheet.

Hat is off. You should shoot them a mail and look to try a pair, I would imagine they will be all for it especially being such a young company. The more people they can get on their skis the better.

In reply, I have already tested the Devastator. Hence why I was keen to comment on whether others had also? The ski is a great easy to use and responsive mid fat. Solid and stable on variable snow. Graphics could be sharper and more contrasty to give the ski more impact but at least they look different.
rip it up!

I believe that a ski club based in Gloucester (dry slope of course!) will be testing them soon.

Someone who takes part may see this thread and post a report...or maybe they won't.....

Was wondering really if testing on a dry slope is any indication of their suitability on snow?

Hi Dids

It will be cool to get some good kids reviews posted. The inferno is a great little ski. Super fun and really responsive! We have been testing it here in Verbier for a while for a shop and it has been getting great feedback. All the guys at BUSC are also using them now for their race week in France I heard? They also got very good reviews from people in Bormio testsing for the UK mags. Watch this space I say, as storm despite its quirky image have some real solid products and cool guys running the show. Just watch them grow if people give them a chance and stop being so naive.
rip it up!
