ski lessons in niederau

Im trying to get myself organised.....eventually and reffered back to this link of where to book the ski hire.

I know you said there are 3 places to hire skis in Niederau, so I just have a couple questions

If I go through ski set it is margareti ski shop. is it cheaper to hire through ski set or go straight through them and if so do you have a website?

Just had another thought. We arrive in Amsterdam off the ferry at 9.30am. I was hoping that we would be able to hire the skis on Saturday but I have a feeling that by the time we get there, the shop will be shut ( what time do the ski hire shops shut?) and any idea how long it will take to get to Niederau from Amsterdam..... 10 hours?

Karen dont panic as Eric at the Margreiter opens up at 7.00am on sundays to accommodate the tour ops, You just have to get up nice and early.

I hired for friends last week, using Skiset. As you know in Niederau, Skiset use Margreiter. I did check up on direct hire prices, and skiset were a clear better deal. Both were better cost than Blachfelder.

Although this was New Year week, and the shop was very busy, our friends received good service. We booked Bronze skis, and they were fine. The bootfitting was good.

I doubt that you will arrive early enough to get skis on the Saturday. Better to get checked in have a good meal and drinks, enjoy the evening. Get down to the hire shop as early as you can, and you will be fresh.

The Gondola starts at 9.00am, Ski school at 10.00am.

I am tempted to book bronze skis for all the beginners ie hubby and 2 kids and get myself and nephew the silver, but I can hear hubby now......Oh you just have to have the better ones. Well no I dont, but I know that is what he will be thinking. I wouldnt really be bothered going with the bronze skis or paying extra for us all to have the silver, but what I dont want him to experience is that using the silver ones to be too hard. I just keep thinking back to my own experience of buying skis far too big for me thinking I would grow into them and get used to it.

Anyway I think I will go with my instinct and book the bronze for hubby and kids and get myself and nephew the silver.
