Thanks for the info Pavel and Trencher. I should really have opened a thread about Utah, for a wider response. It's the age you see.
Talking of which ~ Pav, I wasn't querying the 50 year ski potential of the new knees, rather your potential, given the start point! I certainly would be extremely grateful for another 30 years, but I suspect 15 to 20 may be my lot.
Did ski past an old Austrian guy in Niederau, waited for him at the bottom, and asked him about himself. He told me he had been the local police chief in Worgl, and had been retired nearly 30 years. When I asked him how old he was, he said, ~~ 94!!!

I think Pav had knee replacements, not meniscus.
Tell us about your foot. That must be quite a deal.

I'll give him a run for his money, rather the silicon on his knees. I have a "replaced" foot, Now looks like something out of the terminator... If it matters that Utah may not be an option Breck is substantially cheap. I booked a fairly nice hotel in Silverthorne for 61 bucks a night. Use hotels.com . Best stuff I've used. I wanted to ski Arapaho too bad there was an avalanche the day before. Aspen, well that is REALLY REALLY expensive. Our European friends would like itHirsty wrote:Awesome. Does this now mean that you are a our first bionic skier?
