We have used Trespass for years - we normally go ski-ing in Feb (going at Christmas as well this year!!!) and it is normally pretty cold - with good thermals we have found that Trespass has been more than adequate. Our kids have worn Trespass for years with no probs - like some others have said - it depends on what you want to pay - but for a cost effective way of getting kit I don't think you can beat it!

I know it's not so cool for us riders, but I am buying Spyder this year cos it's the business. That and I can get the 380 Euro jacket in the US for 300 dollars (nearly half price). I knew these business trips had to be useful for something :)

My first ski jacket was Trespass and I bought it because it was 'good value' but hardly very stylish - however it lasted several ski trips until I was treated to a Helly Hansen VERY stylish jacket because we were going to Zermatt for our 25th wedding anniversary and needed to look the part!! The Trespass jacket (and C and A salopettes) are still going on ski trips as I sold them on E-bay. I don't remember ever feeling too cold/hot etc. in the jacket and it had plenty of pockets. Helly Hansen jacket I might add was great for about 5 years ( 12 ski trips) until it developed 'spots' due to a manufacturing defect in the material! Currenly wearing a White Rock jacket. No complaints so far.....

So, the general consensus is that Trespass dont make rubbish, and that their gear is more than adequate. Personally, I think its perfect for first time skiers looking for budget clothing, and especially good for kitting out the kids in clothing they will quickly grow out of.

However, it is not the most stylish clothing, and the jackets in particular are not as nively cut as some of the others. Again, I should point out to people that paying £60 for a Trespass jacket may seem like a good deal, but take into account the better brands available in TK Maxx for similar prices, and I dont think you can go wrong. Lafuma, Nike ACG, Cross, Columbia, Hely Hansen, etc are all available this season at realy good prices, both ladies and mens.
