Anneemase I spent a plesent night there when my gear box packed up a couple of years ago
Was driving home from LGb and my gear box blew, five star cover was great through AXA, so spent a night in Annamass before thay fly us back and hired us a car at Stansted.
The restaurent in the hotel was first class excellent food and wine and the car was still under warrenty so the gear box was replaced FOC ...Happy days.
Le Grand bornand ...... If I drive I never travel without 5 * cover for 10 days AXA charge about £28,
only had to use it once I can't speak highly enough about them from arrange flights excess luggage
taxis to the hotel and airport and also facilitating a conference call between me them and the French police as we were on the Autoroute and it is a private road so you have to inform the police of the breakdown.
And also whilst we were hanging around waiting for the car to be collected they would ring us every hour to ensure we were ok

Is that an extra you have every year or do you always have the policy as standard? :)

Hi Ian,
Hope you had a good Christmas and wish you all the best for the New Year ahead...
That sounds an excellent package with AXA for £28 , I will look into that, with some holiday/motor insurance or insurance included with some car hire there always seems to be something lacking but that sounds a good buy, cheers.
