Hi,
Took my footbeds out of my boots today (custom ones)and placed them side by side on the kitchen worktop and was amazed to find that both are radiaclly different both in height and shape?
Is this normal????
Never checked before but do have a slight issue with outer edge control on uphill ski (on steeps only, but could be just my poor technique, due to have more lessons soon to check)
Any thoughts would be helpful :D

If they were custom made, then the fitter will have made them to suit your anatomy, unless you have 1 of someone else's! You may need a Post under the footbed to give you more control on the one side. Time to visit a fitter, and get the word :D
What brand are they?
Who made them, and how long did it take to complete the job?
How were they made, weighted/unweighted/vaccum ?
I know mine are different, but then I expect them to be, as I've got medical issues with 1 foot, which needs extra support. Do you have any other footbeds to compare them to?
Webbed is word you are looking for
Lol, the ski boot fitter in Les Men did say I should take up swimming!
Thats cool, me ducks
TC, it does depend on the material they are made from. Some are quite rigid and can be ground down with a dremel tool.
Alternatively, the base board in your boot could possibly be lowered a bit to make some space for your foot.

Can the footbeds be adjusted much after fitting?
I have an issue too with my footbeds, as I have discomfort in my left foot as that is being raised too high now after a foot problem I have so the left boot is too tight, but with the standard footbed that the boot came with in, it fits perfect but doesn't feel the same.
Might not get chance to get to Ellis Brigham in MK in the next 3 weeks before I go, but would make a real effort if they can be altered/lowered.

My footbeds are very different because my feet are very different.
