Looking to ski in February, easy access from Geneva airport. i am getting killed on the transfers. Skiied Sauze last year, and did not love all the poma lifts. looking for an easy transfer from Geneva airport, with reasonable hotels and mostly blue/red skiing.

la thuille and courmayeur are the nearest (in Italy) ...just through the mont Blanc tunnel ..and you can ski both on the same lift pass at least if you take the Courmayuer pass..and no pomas...I preferred la thuille though.
from geneva airport €55 return on altibus to chamonix then the savda link through the tunnel

Is there a reason you chose Geneva for a Holiday in Italy?
There are plenty of good French resorts near Geneva.

What is a pomas lift please?
I have skied Sestriere and Claviere in the Milkway and have only come across bog standard drags and chairlifts as far as I know! (we fly in to Turin though)
My sister highly recommends Flaine in France from which is much closer to Geneva

poma is actually a brand of skilift but the term is usually used to mean a single rod with ha button on the end ...I am sure someone will be up to correct me !!
