Hi,
What is the recommended method for storing ski boots during the closed season ?
Buckles open or closed ? and does the plastic become less flexible with age ?
Thanks
Marcus

Store them somewhere dry.
Buckles closed, not in the loft. Mice love boot liners ) Avoid really hot places which could warp them.
Yes, the plastic does seem to become more brittle with age. I was skiing Les Arcs years ago, with a woman whose boots broke in two across the sole, whilst skiing. They were old. She got some new ones :D

I keep mine in the garage on a high shelf, buckles loosely fastened and I keep them in their unzipped boot bag, last pair lasted 15 years so never had any problems 8)
