Hi,

I am looking for recomendations for renting skis and lessons in VDI.

One person has recommended Snowberry for skis. Looking at their web site, they look pretty good. They will sebd a car to pick you up when collecting skis and heir skis are pretty new - they make a big thing of this on theie site and brochure.

On the lessons, I have used ESF 3 times before and I thought they were ok - nothing great. I have skied three weeks before and want to really progress this year - full proper carving and cnfident on red runs.
What do others think of esf and is there any other school that you would suggest?

Thanks.

I can't recommend these guys highly enough:

I used them in Les Gets and my son did 5 mornings of ski school with them too. I've booked a private lesson with them again for next week in Les Houches.

They totally changed my skiing, and I'm so much more confident now.

These folks have a sound reputation, and have been in the teaching biz for a while. All their teachers are BASI qualified.

Looking into their range of courses, they cover skiers, skiing blue runs and up.

I can recommend Evolution 2 Ski School in Val D'Isere. Our beginners progressed well with them.

Hi, I had a 2 hour private lesson with The Development Centre in Val last January and can highly recommend them. All British v.good instructors. Hope you're not short of money (in general), think it was 100 euros or so.. BUT, my skiing really took off in Austria last week. I am intermediate and had not had a lesson in years. Good luck.
