Took kidds(6&9)skiing for first time last year, and they loved it easily managing Blues by end of week. The only problem was their helmets, they were getting too hot wearing them, when taken off their hair was soaking with sweat(nice hey). It was during a hot sunny spell 14th march. Taking them again this year. Anyone know of a helmet with loads of ventilation?

I had a Giro Fuse (think it cost me about $240 but that wasn't a kids helmet) and it is no cooler than my Sweet Trooper which I'm not sure has any vents
Go for something light in weight and light in colour.

Much of the problem may not be the helmet, but having too much clothing/ lack of ventilation in jacket and pants. Did the kid's jackets and pants have vents, and were they over dressed for the actual temps/ activity level? You will only normally sweat in your helmet, if your body is over heating.
