Help on transfer Bourg St Maurice to Val Claret/Tignes?

Going by train for the first time on 26/12 and need help on the transfer to Val Claret - altibus seem to have a bus but the departure is tight on time if the train is late. Due to arrive at 18.20. Anybody had experience of this? Does the bus wait for the train connection? ANy alternative suggestions?
Alternatively anybody want to share the cost of a taxi - there are two of us.

I've used them several times for airport transfers.
