The "official" buff website sells buffs and polar buffs (thicker fleece like material). For my first ski trip I'm going to be reasonably high up and thought a buff looked pretty useful. Just wondering if anyone with experience could tell me which would be better to get an original buff or a polar buff. I'm worried the original will not offer enough warmth if the weather comes in and i'm worried the polar will get too hot for the rest of the time.

Thanks.

Original Buff, is very versatile. Doubt you'd get the same range with the Polar Buff.

Wouldn't ski without my original buff now - was given it as a Christmas present a few years ago and didn't know what it was!
