Just to prove we encourage all sorts... apologies for rubbish camera work, but found it difficult to guess where his line was, and was reasonably steep in places so had to look where I was going!

Thanks Paul for another great video - of the second time down that piste that morning :)

That was the red Brenzi piste, number 8, coming down from Monte Spolverino - that lovely morning when we were up early (as usual) and the first ones on it - perfect corduroy :)

The first time we went down it - me, Paul, Simon, and Davidsa2 - we were the first ones on it and no-one else was there :)

Simon went first, with me behind, and we were all going pretty fast and Simon was carving his way down and I decided to overtake him on the left on the inside - something like in the men's Olympic ski cross event yesterday ;) - but Simon didn't see me (like whoever it was in that race yesterday that accidentally knocked out the guy behind) and he moved across to the left without looking over his shoulder (because he knew he was first on the piste) so that he was on a collision course with me, so I went right up the left hand side to avoid him and found myself in a blue run!

I skied down it to the bottom, phoned Simon to tell him where I was, and met Old Boarder and his 2 kids just going up the number 3 chair, the Belvedere. So I invited them to share this lovely run with us (which starts at the top of this chair) and it was a great opportunity to ski/board with them. The others went up the chair (number 4) from the bottom of the red run and we all met up in the same place at the top.

And then Paul decided to video Old Boarder and his 2 kids - which was really nice of him :)

I reckon Paul did an excellent job of filming the boarders. That's Old Boarder, his daughter, and me at the top, Davidsa2 ski-ing very neatly as usual, and then Old Boarder's son doing a great job of making his way down the piste :)

And there's about 1/4 second of me at the end, belting past Old Boarder's son at about 50 mph :) He said afterwards something about how we can really move! :)

I really like these J2Ski group holidays :)
There's always someone around on the slopes to ski/board with, and talk to when we're in the hotel :)

Cat and I shared a twin room, and this is the view from our balcony at the Gran Baita hotel. It's my photo, taken with a disposable camera I bought for the trip, so it's not up to the standard of the other phtos.

Here's one of Ally on Red 73 following onto Blue 73 to the lift, another subject difficult to video!
