what's up,
i'm in the market for prescription goggles. contacts irritate my eyes, and over the glasses goggles won't stop fogging on me. i'm down to pay a little more money for a good goggle and have done some research, but obviously every company says their product is the best. does anyone have any suggestions about where to look or what to get?
thanks,
brandon

Welcome to J2ski :D I'm a specs and goggles wearer, so I'd be interested to read which prescription goggles you've lined up.

I have some Evil Eye Explorers that I use as sunnies. I really like them, but find I prefer to ski in full goggles, so far. I'm not sure that I can get my prescription in a goggle either :(

I have these, and yes they do the job.I also have a pair of wide goggs that fit over normal specs. However, I really dislike wearing goggles. I have a pair of prescription wrap-round sunnies, I picked up from Specsavers for £80. They are fixed distance, not varifocals, but that's OK, I am usually looking three turns ahead, not at my feet.

I dont know how you manage in N without goggles. Bearing in mind that most of the slopes were in the shade for most of the day when I was there last December, wearing sunnies was only sensible when sat outside that cafe at the bottom of the first run off Markbachjoch. When the sun came out.

If you're not brand-conscious I hear Tesco opticians do prescription ski goggles for about 50 quid. I enquired last year. Not every store has an opticians but their HQ branch in Cheshunt definitely does.
