I am considering getting a pair just to see what they are like. $222 for a test pair is worth a punt!

Ahh, I don't know if I can justify pair of skis number 6, too many skis and not enough skiing!

This wide kind of ski is of no interest to me, but I was fascinated by the whole design & production thing. This guy Mike operates his mind set pretty as I do, so I feel closely in tune. I am tempted, but I have a pair of untried skis by my desk. Maybe you can get them made so you can keep your legs together.

I would just go for a set of test ski, as I felt that the weakest part was the uberfarbe, the top surface. $220, it isn't a lot of money.

But just imagine, if you had a pair of personalised hand made skis, that really worked for you. Wow.

Fascinating site!

Dave, from what I read on the site they don't have to be fat skis, he talks about slalom side cuts etc, I think he will make whatever dimensions you want.
I'm tempted

Neiltoo, on snowheads they are talking about putting a group buy together, you should get in on it (looking to cut down on shipping costs from the US).

Hmm, you've got me thinking now Neil. I wonder if the guy has access to manufacturer data, such that I could order up his skis, with K2 Merlin characteristics, but not 2 metres long.
