hi all, looking at visiting norway in october for the first time. looks like most sites say the ski season is november to april. will there definately be no snowfall or are ther some areas/resorts that will be ski-able mid october??

There snow in July in Norway. Probably.

It can happen, but 99% chance there is no skiing in Norway in October.

Unfortunately, last year, we lost the best web site for snow history. But Iglu has started a history section in it's reports.
The site does not keep records for October, (neither did the previous site), but I would not be making bookings for November until half a metre of snow appeared.
That seems to have occurred only once, in five listed resorts, in the past four years.
Why would you do that?
