My dietician told me not to eat carbs at all.

I am in the 9th week of my diet ..so far I have lost approx 28lb...The diet I am following is a bit boring but I am not hungry

breakfast is large...chicken steak with eggs and mushrooms and tomatoes followed by fresh fruit and no fat yoghurt..

lunch is general a salad with protein ..mackerel ,,or salmon or even beef burgers followed again by fresh fruit

supper is clear soup with some noodles ( my only carbs)and fresh fruit

little caffeine I drink hot water with lemon or decaf tea

I go to the gym most days (its addictive) a mixture of resistance and weights and intense CV

another 28lb to go :(

Daved,
That's an amazing amount of weight you've lost! When I'm on a diet I can never lose more than about 2 lbs per week.

Well done! :thumbup:

Do you think maybe you should give yourself a rest before trying to lose any more, and just try to stabilize your weight?

Ally i always lose a few more pounds in the first week of a diet and as I'm 6'4" and big with it ..you wouldn't even notice the first couple of stone!...my target is to get back to what I was at 25..am working towards an November date and whilst I am in the"zone" I want to stick with it...i can always put a lb on ,,I can look at a chocolate bar in the supermarket

Sounds like a new wardrobe will be needed :shock:

unfortunately not...at the moment everything I have fits again properly....maybe by October though............... :D

Are your clothes something like Baby-grows, Think I will wait for that new vaccine, one shot & lose 10% of your body weight overnight, a bit like your savings & shares :cry:
