Someone told me last year about a trip to Switzerland where you take a train ride up a mountain and it takes 3 days to ski/board out. I've been googling for hours trying to find something that matched this and so far no luck. I'm not even sure if what he told me was that accurate but I would love to find something like this.
I'm not looking for a cross country skiing type scenario so if any one has any ideas it would be appreciated.
Need help locating resort or guide. Three day ski out with train ride

Welcome to J2ski :D You might have been told about a section of this, perhaps?

It's definitely NOT cross-country skiing, though you do cross a border or two enroute.
Alternatively, you could ski from Zermatt to Zinal, which will take a while.
Switzerland has loads of long distance ski randonee stuff. You will need a decent Mountain Guide.
It might be quicker/easier just to ask a UIAGM Guide if they know of the journey you heard about. If you find the answer, let us know :D
