Solden

I posted on here a few months back asking if anyone had been to Solden, and no one replied. Am I right in assuming that no one on here has been, or does anyone have any experience of the place?

Its certainly not as well used by Brits or the tour ops as many others, although Ischgl has only recently hit the British market to be fair. I can find tour ops that go to Solden but I dont know anyone who has been in order to be able to offer an opinion. I was told by the lady in my local ski shop that they prefer Obergurgl which is closeby, but that doesnt appeal to me as much for some reason.

Just been looking at pictures of Obergurgl at work!! One of the engineers was there last weekend. Looks quite nice.

Never been to Benidorm, I've been told it is like Great Yarmouth, don't do there either, so yes it's off my tourist map... :wink:

I wonder if ise has been to Benidorm, it's an interesting comparison :lol:

Never been to Benidorm, I've been told it is like Great Yarmouth, don't do there either, so yes it's off my tourist map... :wink:

Great Yarmouth is a truly vile place. Benidorm has invested millions into sprucing itself up around the old town. Not that its on my radar, but I think the 2 should not be compared.


Now. Solden. ANYONE?????
