to all who are mum's. Just wondering if any of you got ski related gifts instead of the usual flowers and chocolates.

Thanks for reminding me. It's not until May over here and I always forget the UK date. I'll give my mum a call tomorrow.
You can't miss the US mothers day, every restaurant is full at lunchtime.

Unfortunately Mrs W is working today trying to lead the country out of recession so she was up before me but she has just opened her cards, chocs and flowers, the best card his always the school made one, Little W just pulled it out of her school bag AAAAAAAhhhhhhh :wink:

Have not had my pressie yet, Son coming down later after work. But it will definately be flowers, chocs etc. He would never encourage skiing, he thinks I am mad to do it. I thought he might change after I gave him our skiing holiday and the fact that his new girlfriend ski's, but I live in hope.

My whole family are still in bed, given that they were all after borrowing money last night, I doubt I'll get anything....probably some IOU's! :roll:

we don't do gifts, my present is to be treated like a princess all weekend. lovely bike ride and meal yesterday, going for a long walk to a fab gastro pub for chateaubriand and wine today, all chores being done for me, heaven :D

I'm off to watch my eldest play football in a bit, every result has gone our way this weekend (including my youngest winning 3-0 yesterday), a clean sweep would make my day... (along with a 0-0 in the liverpool-villa game)
