Hi folks,

found some cheap skis 'Rossignol Actys 100' with Axium 100 bindings for £88 - allegedly brand new.

Are these any good for a beginner / intermediate? I've done a few black slopes but happier on Blue / Red (on piste only - none of that scary off-piste exploring lark :-)

Sounds a bit too good to be true, anyone come across these before?

Thanks,
Lee

From what I can read online, they are a beginner/early intermediate ski. From that I would suggest they are quite soft and forgiving and probably quite light too. However, the reports suggest they chatter at speed, and probably wont let you go too fast either.

I bought some skis similar to this when I first bought 2 years ago and within 3 weeks of skiing them I wanted better ones. I should just have bought the better skis and got on with it to be honest.

Good price if you are a novice, but if you are a comfortable intermediate, I think you need a better ski.
