Pasa de la Casa / Snowlakes Apt Review

So i just got back from Pasa on Sunday nite, we had a brilliant time there, will all the recent snowfall, the conditions for boarding were the best I have ever experienced.

The entire Grand Valira area was full of fresh powder. I spent alot of time in the Soldeu / El-Tartar area which has a great selection of blues / reds. The lifts had little or no queues at all.

We stayed at the Snowlakes Apartments which was surprisingly excellent. There was 4 of us and the rooms were big enough, very clean and warm. Breakfast was as expected, a selection of cereals, breads, cold meats and cheese, coffee, tea, juice and so on. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The only let down being that the ski storage room was not heated, we ended up taking out snowboard boot inners out and drying them by the heaters in the room, no big deal really.

It was only a 5 - 10 min walk to the slopes up a small hill, plenty of places to eat close by, supermarket and burger king all within a 5 min walk. Beers were around 3 euro for a pint, food averaged around 9 euros for pizzas and around 12-15 euro for other mains like pastas / steak and so on.

I would def recommend the Snowlakes, just beware that when you transfer from the airport you are dropped off at the bus terminal and you walk up to the hotel (10 min walk). Your luggage is however taken in a van and is waiting for you when you get there.

A mate of mine boarded there 2 years ago and said it wasnt too great for boarders with lots of flat sections and unsuitable lifts. How did you find it?
