Good afternoon to you all.
A friend and I have booked some flights to Turin, Italy in March with the intention of going skiing somewhere decent & close.
What we're planning is to create the cheapest ski DIY holiday possible.
Anyone have any suggestions as to what we can cut out/find shortcuts around? :)
We both have full UK drivers licenses. I haven't really looked into much about car hire abroad and weighed them against airport transfer buses.
I'm in college just now you see ;) Studying hard, of course :)
Any help is much appreciated!

I have a feeling Italy may 19 to hire a car...
I had a short visit to La Thuile and the skiing there looks excellent... just some food for thought.

Thanks for the input guys. I don't really know anything about Italy, but i'll do some research and look into what you've suggested :)

see my other post at http://www.j2ski.com/ski-chat-forum/posts/list/5121.page. Sestriere and surroundings are a great destination from Turin airport. Shop around hotels to find v reasonable accomodation. Good luck.
