My daughter and compadres are going to the small Swiss resort of Les Mosses February 2010. The trip is obviously to cover all standards. My daughter has skiied 3 times and is competent blue run and can handle the more straight forward reds. From the little research i have done so far the place seems quiant but maybe a bit limited for the advanced adrenalin junkies. If any of them are that good they should be thinking of going somewhere on their own with suitably skilled pals. I have put the name of the resort in the Search chat facility and next to nothing comes back on it. If anyone has any knowledge of the place/tips please share your wisdom. Ta

For a school trip it may be just fine. There used to be a lift up Pic Chausy which would have been good, nowadays you have to walk up  What's left is a handful of draglifts on some fairly short and easy angled slopes, it's a bit busy at weekends with local people from nearby towns and it can be a bit unpleasant. Nearby you have Leysin which is pretty good though.

Nordic or self powered it's an exceptional area, loads of terrain and great scenery.

Just thought I would bump this back into the frame as the date like the whole of the new season is fast approaching.
I know its abit early bit if anyone finds a live web cam for the place let me know.
Any update or current news of this years season will be greatfully appreciated.

I take it this is not a resort then that Brits normally visit, hence the 6th form trip there. Seems to have plenty of snow and about 14 lifts so I am sure it will be ideal for what they need. I always thought that Switzerland was expensive to eat and drink. I hope for there sake it is not as daftely priced as France. That is why in recent years we have always gone to Austria.

France has certainly overtaken Switzerland in the price stakes in recent seasons; I would expect prices to be largely similar to Austria (apart, perhaps, from the very ritziest resorts!)
