Hi, all
I will be flying into Grenoble in a couple of weeks and will be takening my own ski's.
After reading the post about lost ski,s at GVA, I was wondering where they will come out, as I have never been there.
There is a group of us and we usually split up so that some go for the ski's and the others for the luggage.
Where do ski's come out at Grenoble Airport

Yep, ours too... and our baby buggy emerged from a third location; with two other flights arriving around the same time it was chaos.
Defo split your group to cover all the exits! 8)

i flew out to grenoble 2 weeks ago and the bagguage system was a bit of a joke. we arrived into a small annex with one carosel. which did nothing for 10 minutes so we got the hint and moved into the mail room where there are 2 more carosels but no signs. might just have been an off day. it appeared atht all the bagguage for all the flights landing at that time came off one and all the skis and boards off another so ur best bet is to slit yourselves between both carosels and wait...

I echo Scottdog, ours came out on 2 different carousels and were mixed up with another flight....! So just keep eyes peeled!!!
A bad day on the slopes is better than a good day in the office !

Thanks for the replies
We will take your advise and split up.
Admin - Thanks for mentioning about the buggy in a third location as I will need to take one as well.

Flew into Grenoble last Saturday morning and back from there this morning. The incoming baggage is a very hi-tech system which seems to consist of a woman with a walkie talkie and a clipboard in one hand and felt tip pen in the other, which she uses to write on a whiteboard apparently random information with flight numbers and conveyor belt numbers. Since our flight didn't appear, we wandered over to a stationary belt which suddenly started up and produced all our luggage! Return this morning was chaotic and the hi-tech system this time was a piece of paper hung up by what appeared to be a clothes peg over the check-in desks. Again we were amazingly lucky as a new desk opened up suddenly and we checked in our luggage within 5 minutes of entering the airport.
Departures hall was so rammed however, we decided to wander about outside, bought a coffee and sandwich from the outside coffee bar and then went round to the arrivals hall for half an hour where there were some seats and also some loos with no-one queueing. Went back round to departures where our flight was already boarding and after a ten minute wait to get through security, we went straight onto a bus and onto the plane! Chaos but it seems to work!
