Hi folks,
We're driving down from Munich to Garmisch-P on the way to Niederau in March through the seefeld sattle. I've been told that the route down from Seefeld through Zirlberg is quite steep and difficult. Is it really that bad, or do I just need to be more cautious than usual? We've got snow tyres and chains booked on the hire car so that shouldnt be a problem.
Also - driving from the autoroute from Worgl to Niederau, whats the road like there? Ive seen it on google maps (but these photos are taken in summer and not winter!).
Although I know nobody can predict the snowfall, but in terms of snow - is there usually a few spring snow-falls early part of March that could mess things up?
Thanks for the help.

I did the drive from Munich to Niederau in December, and from the motorway its only about 6 miles through Worgl. The road was well gritted and kept totally clear. I did not need chains, although it was a few days since the last snow fall. Its kept clear usually, expect when there is a dump happening. You should be fine.
Cant comment on the other part of your drive, sorry.
