I know this is the million dollar question but......if you booked them a soon as they go on sale, Manchester to Geneva - has anyone a rough idea of what we could expect to pay or whatyou may have paid in the past. Looking at the New Year week, 27 Dec to 3 Jan - basic prices exc baggage and ski carriage add ons.
Thanks in advance.

Lots! The Low Cost airlines are experts at exploiting peak time traffic and you are unlikely to find any bargains around Christmas, especially if you hoping to travel Saturday to Saturday. Don't be under any illusions, the "Low Cost" statement that features heavily in their marketing refers to their costs not yours

Was looking at going this year leaving 27 Dec 08 returning 4 Jan 09. Prices on the 27 were very cheap around £40 but returning were around £140 this included taxes but no baggage
When I first started looking in late September one of the national carriers had a offer - think it was Air Lingus - for £120ish return which included taxes and baggage but this was via some place and the flight time or should I say travel time was around 9 hours

BA doing Gatwick to Geneva, 27 Dec returning 3 Jan, inc one 23kg luggage, one snowboard or ski bag & inflight meals £147 all in. That seems like a good deal to me!!

Hi There, We have been for the day before and are doing so this year, thanks to Ryanair we are flying to Salsburg for £10 each, we arive at 9 40 and are hiring a car for 37e, we can ski the rest of the day and return in the evening. Our only problem at present is finding a resort with a reasonable price lift pass - we are looking at 37e for the day -any information? We would not mind a small resort as we only have a limited time.
We went last year to Bardonechia and it was only 15e.

Austrian resorts will work out around 35 to 40 euros a day I am afraid.
