I will be in Paris from Feb 9 - Feb 12 and I would love to include a day of snow boarding in the trip, maybe a Monday or Tuesday. Any recommendations on somewhere to head for a day? Riding a train overnight, skiing during the day, and then heading back to Paris by train in the evening would be ideal.

Try Les Arcs. You can get an overnight train from Gare de Lyon direct to Bourg St Maurice, and the Funi up to Les Arcs is at the end of the train station. They've even got lockers in the station for your stuff, and there's a hire shop right at the bottom of the funi. Or you can go up to Arc 1600 and hire there.
