Hi,
I am a newbie - so I apologies if you have another listing for this?
I have just booked my 4 yr son into the Ski Ecole International school and wondered if anyone has used them or any feedback good - bad etc...?
I am also looking to book some private ski lessons for the adults in our group and on their (esi) web site they have group lessons for 1-4 people for 79Euro - but contacting them direct they are charging 99Euro for 2hours... (I am unable to book online as the web site states "no results" - when looking to book)
Has anyone got feedback about adult lessons with this company in Flaine or why such a difference in price - suggestions, recommedations of other options...?
Thanks....

I'm in Flaine right now. My son did his Ourson with the ESF last week and is doing his Flocon this week. No problems at all with the ESF - the instructors speak good English and have been good with the kids. It's mainly English this week but last week was half and half.
Class sizes appear no smaller in the ESI, and the instructors no better or worse. They all ski in the same area.
He's also had an extra lesson (and is having another) with Catherine Pouppeville on a private basis. She specialises in kids and is excellent:
www.skicat74.com.
Contact her in advance of your trip to book her as she probably won't have space otherwise. She would also I'm sure be able to suggest a good instructor for the adults.
Where are you staying and when are you going?

Thanks,
How's the snow at the moment?
We are staying at the Montsoleil resort - arriving on the 17th of January.
I will take a look at your suggestion - my son was at ESF last year - but I was recommended the ESI as they had smaller classes... But The ESF was in Courcheval and it was busy...

Snow's generally good, but a refresher dump is needed (when isn't it?!). It's very cold too.
Montsoleil looks nice, and you can ski from it to Foret easily in the morning, but the only way to ski back at present is by going up the Grand Vans chair and cutting across, before taking the new short chair for Montsoleil - probably not suitable for your 4 yo.
