Ski Amade or Ski Welt 28th - 31st Dec

Hi

I have found some cheap flights to Salzburg onthe 28th Dec (my birthday :) ) I haven't bought the flights yet 'cause i seem to be having trouble finding some accomodation in any resort within 1 to 2 hr. drive of the airport.

Accomodation is needed for 2 people and any board or selcatering is fine. Beggers can't be choosers!

Depending on what you want and your age etc!! Its not club city but Schladming is only just over an hour from Salzburg. Fantastic skiing unless you are an adrenalon junkie as not that many challenging blacks.
Nice place full of character Good apres but not madness. A few Brits about but not hoards.
You can get a train from Salzburg to Scladming 1hr 15 min and and costs about £20. Airport to station 20 minutes on a tram door to door.There were tranfers buses from Schladming to the airport but they are scheduled more around German flights.

Bad news is that most of Austria is booked up for New Year - good news we booked for Niederau Hotel Vicky which is closed this season but open that week, just 2 weeks ago. Try emailing Gabrielle info@feriendorf-wildschoenau.at

Ski Welt is just a 15 minute drive away and the skiing at Niederau is recommended by many on this forum...
