Hi there
We stayed in Landhaus Roscher in March which is one of the Inghams snowhouses. It was about a 10 min walk to the Ahorn cable car and about 5 min to the Penken gondola. The accomodation was basic but clean and the people who ran it were lovely. I would definately book a snowhouse again. :D

Flippin eck. Theres been about 4000 threads on this subject this year.
Right. Snowhomes are non named properties generally, B&Bs or pensions, dotted about the resort. They are usually small, chalet size, around 4 to 10 rooms often, and serve a hearty breakfast in the mornings, but wont do evening meals usually.
They could be anywhere in the town, or even outside it, but theres a good bus service. I have stopped in several of these before, they have always been excellent, well maintained, friendly service, more than comfortable.
If you are thinking about booking, stop thinking and do it.
