Whistler Season Start?

There on business from 13th Dec for a week and looking at getting some skiing in.

When does the resort open?
In the past when does the first major "dump" occur. Am I slightly early?

Planned opening date is November 27th. From History, expect an early opening of the weekend of November 22nd if the snow falls heavy and early!

Usually by now we are tuning up for a big break on the third Nov weekend. It's been way to warm to really call it a decent opening .... anything will be horribly skied out--turning to crud within minutes.

(Last time I looked out the window, there were too many gas guzzling SUVs adding more CO2 than we can handle. No wonder we have trouble getting snow and cold...)

We need a 100 cm base to even consider giving W a nod. tsk tsk
