I went into work today with the usual monday morning blues expecting the usual boring day at the grind stone but today turned out to be a very special day!
I am a carpet fitter so turned up at the house i was to install the floorcovering in and everything went as normal with the usual greetings and then left to get on with the job. After about and hour my customer said he was going to the shop and would make coffee on his return. When he came back he must have spotted my copy of last years where to ski and snowboard i keep in the front of my van for inspiration when days are particularly difficult (some turn to the bible I turn to ski literature!!!) He called my collegue an i into the lounge for our coffee and infront of us he had laid out hundreds of ski photos and at least a dozen piste maps and said i noticed you like to ski so thought you may like a look threw these!
After what i thought had been 20 minutes it was time to sadly return to work and finish the job and i looked at my watch to discover we had been sat talking skiing for closer to an hour!
My point being why does time seem to go twice as quick whilst having anything to do with skiing yet work time generally seems to slow right down to the pace of a snail on a normal monday morning
there's no waiting for friends on a powder day

I know this feeling only too well! I've just realised that I've spent the last 4 hours looking on the web for a skiing holiday for 2009 without even thinking about it!! And why is it that everything seems to be so Fecking expensive :?:
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!

I can't even begin to think about the amount of time I've spent reading my "wtss 2009" since I got back from holiday on friday. I even managed to get it picked up from work and was reading it on the way back from the airport!!!

ps. admin, I'm missing my smilies [happy face]
