Calgary v Vancouver

Which is best for skiing and reliable good snow? LL and Sunshine or Whistler

May have the opportunity of going to one or the other, which would you go to?

Give us some more info about ability what you want from a holiday? Do you want 5* luxury and double blacks? etc.

To be honest they are both great. Calgary resorts would have the edge on reliability though, not to say Whistler is unreliable cos its not at all, but can get rain quite a lot from about 900m down. Above that though and there's usualy more snow at Whistler than Sunshine/LL. But at either there will 99.9% of the time be the most amazing snow, so no need to worry really!

5 mth work contract. based in either city downtown. car hire provided for the duration. did calgary last time and enjyed it very much but tossing up to gamble on vancouver!

Change it.. go for Vancouver-you have the local hills-Grouse etc aswell

Within a three hour drive what resorts are available from each city. Work provides a car!
