Hi i appreciate any help i can get...I would like to go skiing this sat 8th march, but don't know where. From the forecasts looks like austria - st anton will be good but looking at accuweather.com it says its going to rain beginning of next week with snow. Would really have liked to go to France but gotta go whereever the snow is.

Any help would be great

Basic rules, especially when the snow isnt looking too good:

Go high up, ie over 2000m or choose a glacier resort.

I can recommend Mayrhofen in Austria, or Val Thorens in France from personal experience. Also, Ischgl and obergurgl in Austria good snow records, as does Cervinia in Italy. Switzerland often has the best snow of all Europe, but there are lots of places to consider.

If you can afford to keep it last minute, do so, so that you get the best conditions, and also the best prices.
