Hi all,
Looking at the snow reports ( getting obsessed to be honest ) just wondering how Mozine can show a bit of snow coming and Chatel show heaps of it could someone explain this if poss or is it a error.

Hi Jason... looks as if GFS (the source of most of our data) is having a hard time coping with the boundaries of the weather systems expected in the next week. I'd expect things to even out a little with the next update, but it's looking like the milder air will be with us until about the 3rd or 4th when it should get cooler... :evil:

Your not the only one getting obsessed - I must be logging on a dozen or so times a day expecting to see some kind of miracle happen. Fingers crossed (Im of to Les Gets on Monday) it will all be good :?:

Just been given some good news, friend on mine just got back from Morzine and she said the snow is still very good especially Avoriaz and Les gets, just getting bad low down around Morzine. All it needs it a nice little dump over the weekend and all will be good she stated so hopefully not all bad.

Yep - thats all Im hoping for - Think it goes without saying that there will undoubtably be snow in some form when we arrive - just how much, what quality and how low it is. Always nice to have it in the village n all that.
Also I think whatever way we look at it we are also in for a cold snap for the week we are there - looks like the wind is going to change and come from the north which will certainly cool things down but will also make it a bit hard first thing

Not sure if you will get this - looks like we are both in for a heck of a lot of snow and low temps all week. Hopefully the runs will be open and we get some good skiing in - Our paths may cross you never know
