buy ski boots in the north west uk

I am looking to buy a pair of ski boots and was hoping someone could tell me of a good place to get fitted and buy a pair in the northwest?
As i have to fly in from the isle of man i would really need to get this done in either manchester or liverpool if anyone has any advice would be greatfully recieved

If you're flying in to Manchester then Chill Factor would be a good place to buy boots and try them out. )

Why wouldn't you buy them in a ski resort? Where you can actually use them for real, with skis, on snow, and take them back to where you bought them if they need tweaking ... Or are you planning to use them on a dry ski slope or snowdome ahead of your holiday?
