Hi, Just registered with the forum.
Just this sec booked for 4 people to Arinsal staying at Princesa Parc 8th Feb. 2 newbies & 2 intermediates.
Not been to Andorra before but been to Borovets....
We've rebooked our skiis and boots. Where can I get a good price for our lift passes. Is it best to wait till we get there?
Anything else we should know?
Thanks in advance.

Personally I think its best to book your lift passes through the tour operator as it tends to be much cheaper than buying from the resort, im off on Sunday to Pas de la Casa and got my passes for around £180 or so.

Having been to Pas, visited Soldeu, and stayed in Arinsal, all I can say is Andorra rocks!!
Pas go to the Underground and the Mexi Shack night!!
Soldeu - only had lunch but thought skiing was ok round there.
Arinsal - Skiing not amazingly challenging but ok, not much snow when I was there. Princessa Park - v nice!! 8) I played a couple of acoustic numbers in there! Free cheese toastie in El Cau (The Cow) when you buy a drink at the end of every days skiing!! Plenty of night life for such a small place
Free bus to Arcalis (great skiing area, v quiet!)
Oh and has anybody mentioned that the resort is TAX AND DUTY FREE!! Cheap as Chips!!

Thanks.
Yep I went back to my tour operator (originally booked with lastminute)but had login details to the original provider. There was a multitude of addons that LM didnt offer.
So got lift passes all round for £125. Nice one.
Not long to go now and more snow just fell. :-)

Hi there,
Im new to this forum (1st post) but read your message and felt like telling you that pas de la casa in andorra was fun last year even tho it had little snow and it was my 1st time. The resort had plenty of blue runs. bottom greens were busy but once you get on the lifts and into the other valleys it was amazing loads of freedom on the blues.
After taking lesson during the morning with a great tutor who had me skiing in no time at all i was skiing blues by the end of day 2. Some fun runs and great views.
People friendly. Will be busy tho in feb on the bank hols.
Good news plenty of snow this year:)
Heading back in feb myself this year ...cant wait!
I agree the food is bland but it can be fun figuring out what the hells on your plate (not many dogs or cats roaming the streets put it that way ) anyway i dont go on skiing hols for the food.
hope you have a great time where ever you end up!

I was in Arinsal last Thursday/Friday, and the conditions are really excellent. There was about 20cm of new snow last Monday, and more has fallen this weekend. Should be great skiing over the next few weeks!
BTW try Surf for a good Argentinian style barbecue steak!
