Rjones,
If you are anything like a competent skier Pas to Soldeu direct takes under an hour, slightly more to get to Canillo, so your answer is yes, its easily possible. We regularly lunch in Pas. There are good restaurants right on the slopeside there.

Great, thanks. I'm intermediate but still sounds easily doable.

How are the conditions today? I heard that it deteriorated a lot after the mild temperatures and rain in the last 2 days. Most of the recent snowfall already melted and there are a lot of patchy spots on the pistes.
Light snowfall for Sunday and Monday and a lot of rain and mild temperatures for next weekend in the forecast. Starting to get really worried for my trip first week of feb.

Conditions have deteriorated badly due to warm temperatures. Bit of rain this morning even at altitude and snow pack very soft. We need a temperature drop and soon!

Temperature will drop tomorrow and we and there are some light snowfall predicted for the week. The problem is that this will be followed by another period of high temperatures and a lot more rain than this time.
Hope this change till there.
