I've been back 10 days but there has been no snow since then. The whole side of the resort where the best skiing is (in my opinion) is closed and they have not been gunning snow in this area. Consequently it is green with only a few patches of any thin snow cover. This side is where the link is !! So this means they would have to fill in a mountain and 2 valleys to get the link open. I think this means that we need a dumpto get this open.

They are running the normal buses from Soldeu to Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa but these are consequently very very crowded and busy. Somepone in our hotel tried to get tha last (17-00) bus back from Garu Roig and it was full !! Had a 30 minute wait and 18 Euro for a taxi.

Snow is predicted on 2 sites I have seen but the official Andorramania site still says no snow other than flurries for one day. We'll have to wait and see who has got it right.

Hi guys there are 11 of us out on the 28th and so 11 of us checking snow reports daily!! at least 60% are forecasting two / three days of average snow next week so thats promising. Hopefully it'll be enough to cover up the grass and mud!!

see you there!

Off to Soldeu on the 27th of Jan. Big gang of Irish guys headin over. its our first time in Andorra and im not liking the reports im hearing so far but still looking forward to it anyway.

Does anyone know exactly how many of the slopes are open and how much snow will be needed to open the link between Pas de la Casa and Soldeu.

PS where r the best spots in Soldeu to head for some 'Ceol agus Craic'

Oh Jays not more !! There's 22 of us from Carlow going to Pas de La Casa on the 28th.
In answer to your question, it better piss down next week to have the link open, but it looks promising, truth is I'm even afraid to say that.
Ceol agus Craic is where ever we will be !! which is likely to be the Gatsby, Mulligans or the Underground or the Milwaulkee ........ya know the story  ) ......all in Pas de la Casa (sorry don't know much about Soldeu)
As for Andorra in general well it's our 3rd year in a row, nuff said !! Craic is 90. Good luck if you dont see us, you'll hear us, yep even in Soldeu !
