As far as I know Admin is male and the J2Ski news lady is female. But I don't know what all the fuss about capitals is about. I have a copy of Fowler's English somewhere - I will dig it out and have a look for you :D

I think the point is Baldy didn't seem to realise that adders was male, well at least the last time I met him he was :wink

He sure is/was.

I didn't realise J2skinews was a lady though. That does explain the wibble though.

Having holidayed with good friends before now, it's certainly a tricky co-ordination exercise.

Ally's "where everyone is going and when" idea is great though (on the sleeps to ski time topic). Perhaps some kind of permanent sticky for this could be set up. Then people can see where people have booked and may be able to meet up, even if only for one or two day's joint skiing. Therefore no massive commitment and if people don't hit it off no big deal.

Has this been formally requested through the feedback thing? **edit** it has and I've voted

On That other site 'Slush heads" they seem to organise a ski trip, how successful it has been you can only guess

I've said it before, but I think the best solution to people who wish to do a J2Ski group holiday, would be to simply decide on a resort and date. Then let anyone who wants to go simply arranges their own holiday.

If people don't get on they can simply ski with their own group, and will not have the issues of staying with the people they don't get on with. And anyone on the trip is as free to spend as much or as little time with others as they wish.

Agreed, I mentioned this too.

I am happy to book a said resort on a said week. If you are there and want to ski then great, if not...thats fine too. But why would you not want to ski with snapzzz?

I think the first thing to do would be to find out how many J2Skiers would like a group holiday together.

I had a go just now with Survey Monkey to design a simple survey to answer these sort of questions. I don't want you to actually do the survey but just to look at the questions and suggest things like other resorts and other questions we need to ask etc. I haven't thought much about the resorts - I just put down the first ones that came into my head because this is only a prototype survey. It seems that I can make a survey with 10 questions for nothing.

I added the last question just to make it 10. I expect someone could think of a more useful question.

I have no idea how I get hold of the answers yet - but presumably it tells you that somewhere on the survey Monkey website
