Okay guys here's my question.

You find yourself going too fast.
How do/can you bail without losing your skis?
Uh oh, I think I broke'd the lift

ok, assuming you're going too fast to turn up the hill then I'd suggest face planting in the deepest powder you can find

3 Alternatives:-

1)Fall onto your back with feet in air until you come to stop
2)Ski into rear of attractive looking lady (or man depending on your mood) :!:
3)Keep going :P
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!

If in doubt, tuck it out.

Or, if you must slow down..

Go to a local boat chandlers and purchase yourself a small anchor and a sturdy length of rope. When your speed reaches the point where your eyeballs are 'licking' the inside of your goggles then simply throw out the anchor (not forgetting to keep a suitably tight grip on the other end of the rope). Works for me everytime.
