I am pretty sure you would get sick of people asking you where the powder was, thankfully in Scotland you don't really get chairlifts or people willing to be sociable enough with a stranger to make that comment.

Only since the city boys moved in! :( I spent 8 winters in Verbier and went back last April after a 6 year absence. Talk about a town losing its soul.

City boys, you mean bankers, lawyers and the like, so you could say it has gained lots of ****souls
:D

Not so many 'bankers' there this year....

Is that the crunch of fresh snow, under foot I hear - or the financial meltdown of Canary Wharf???????
You'll never know, unless you try...

Who knows, Verbier may yet return to being known solely as a good ski resort. It was Verbier that named a chairlift after singer James Blunt, so, a little way to go on the road to recovery

head monsters are great on and off piste!!

Pricey though.....

Get some off the bay for about 250ish. I used 170s in Fernie and loved em - very fast and responsive, had 163s last year (experimenting) although they were good, they were not as good as 170s.
