I need a fitter who is mega skilled as i have MASSIVE calves (sexy huh?) and my boots were agony last year as i only rented them and it took three days to get them to the point where i cuold wear them for more than a few hours.
Can anyone recommend a superb boot fitter. Have car, will travel, even to London (from Edinburgh)
Cheers

Blues seem to have a good reputation. If you are prepared to travel then
http://www.solutions4feet.com/index.php are based in Bicester just off the M40. For London, try http://www.profeet.co.uk/ successful fitting there, depends on which fitter/how busy the shop is. Your 1st task is to get measured up properly, so that you buy the correct boot model/size, before any modifications can be made to the cuff.

i think ellis brigham have a shop in fort william?!
might be worth getting up there for a weekend or something early dec (snow permittnig) and actually trying them out over the course of a few days and going back to the shop to make adjustments.
otherwise Glasgow? i think i've been in that shop - good selection - you reckon they are expert fitters?
thanks for the advice.

I know nothing about their reputation as skiboot fitters.

My wife is size 9 and 6ft 2 so fitting boots for her feet was an extraordinarily difficult task, in the end we triumphed at Severn Sports in Leeds, drove all the way from Northants and they eventually fitted her with a great pair of Head!! She now claims they are like slippers compared to the last pair she had
Good luck
Good luck
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!
